Customised Trips

us to arrange dates for customised sea kayaking trips
between May and November(subject to availability). We can
arrange a trip for any number of days, either camping or staying
in beach side cabins.
To Make a Reservation:
A deposit of NZ$200 per person will secure your reservation.
A final balance will be due one month in advance of the tour.
Payments can be made from overseas customers by mailing us a
cashiers cheque in NZ dollars (minimal cost compared to the overseas electronic
bank transfer). For anyone with a New Zealand bank account, either
a personal cheque or or an electronic bank transfer works. Contact
us for our bank details. If writing a cheque please make it out to
"New Zealand Sea Kayak Adventures". Our
apologies for not being able to accept credit card payments.
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will email you
pre-tour information, which will include transport and accommodation
information and a detailed gear/clothing list, plus a
questionnaire to be filled out and email returned. If you prefer to
receive hard copy of this information by mail, please let us know.
Please Note:
Some of our trips
use remote Department of Conservation (DoC) campsites. The cost of
$10/person/night will be passed on to the customer.
Also, many of our trips will use a put-in or take-out a significant
distance away from the Paihia area (1 - 1 1/2 hours drive). A group-shared
transport cost will apply.
These costs will be collected separately at the start of each
trip rather than be included in the tour price as these circumstances
can change due to weather or sea conditions at the time of the tour.
Cancellation Policy: Customers cancelling more than
30 days in advance of the tour start date will forfeit $100 of
their deposit, and within 30 - 15 days all of their $200 deposit.
Cancellations within 15 days to 24 hours will forfeit
half the cost of the tour. There will be no refund for a cancellation
within 24 hours prior to the start of the tour. However, all efforts
will be made to join up a late arrival with the group at the customer's
expense.
